Responsibilities:

      1. Assortment Planning:
      - Collaborate with design and product development teams to create a well-balanced and market-relevant product assortment.

      2. Product Development:
      - Work closely with the sourcing team and manufacturing team to develop new products, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to brand standards.
      - Manage the product lifecycle, from conceptualization and sampling to final production.

      3. Merchandise and Inventory Planning & Management:
      - Identify industry trends and predict consumer demand for online and offline sales channels based on geographical locations.
      - Monitor sale/event dates and adjust inventory levels/replenishments for optimum stock levels.
      - Implement stock liquidation strategies when relevant.
      4. Pricing Strategies:
      - Set competitive pricing strategies based on thorough market research, cost analysis, and desired profit margins.

      5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
      - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Fabric Sourcing, Sales, Design, Production, and Packaging, to plan new product launches.
      - Coordinate with Photography and Visual Graphic teams for catalog shoots to go live on various E-commerce portals.
      6. Product Categories Management:
      - Manage a diverse range of product categories, including Bedding, Living, Kitchen & Table Linen, Accessories, and Kids Home Furnishing Products.
      - Ensure a well-coordinated approach to product development and merchandising across all categories.
      7. Data Collection and Analysis:
      - Utilize Google Drive and other collaborative tools to organize and share information with relevant teams.
      - Implement data collection strategies to gather insights on market trends, customer preferences, and sales performance.
      8. Digital Catalog and Visual Merchandising:
      - Create and maintain a digital catalog for easy accessibility and reference.
      - Plan and execute visual merchandising strategies for retail stores, ensuring an appealing product display.
      9. Inventory Management and Production Planning:
      - Manage inventory levels, working closely with demand planning and warehousing teams.
      - Plan production based on sales forecasts, fabric stock levels, and market demand.
      10. Product Marketing Content and Pricing:
      - Plan and oversee product marketing content, including photo shoots and promotional materials.
      - Implement pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
      11. Google Drive Use:
      - Effectively use Google Drive for collaborative document creation, sharing, and storage.

Qualification & Skills

  • Education:
      - Degree in Textiles, Product Development, Design, Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • - Prior experience in a similar role, with expertise in product development, packaging, and market trends analysis.
      - Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • - Proficiency in market trend analysis, digital catalog creation, and visual merchandising.
      - Strong organizational and planning skills for inventory and production management.

  • Sales Planning
    • -Drive promotion and sales strategies for a diverse range of textile products, including home furnishings, bags, and apparel.
      -Oversee marketing and sales activities on major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon.in, Amazon.com, Flipkart, Ajio, ensuring consistent sales growth.
      -Plan and execute promotional activities, advertisement campaigns, and brand-boosting events.
      -Collaborate with category teams, attend face-to-face meetings, and forecast monthly sales to align with marketplace trends negotiating with account managers to achieve targeted sales.
  • Catalogue & Operational Management:
    • -Maintain and enhance product listings across various e-commerce portals, focusing on catalogue hygiene and optimal stock levels.
      -Regularly verify listings with high returns or low profitability, implementing corrective measures when needed.

      -Analyse monthly sales data, ensuring business profitability concerning discounts, promotions, and marketing expenditures.
      -Identify and address loss-making partnerships, removing non-profitable business functions.
      -Project monthly payments, collaborating with higher management to ensure a smooth flow of funds.
  • Performance Metrics Monitoring:
    • -Monitor, track, and report to management on important performance metrics such as ACOS (Advertising Cost of Sales), TACOS (Total Advertising Cost of Sales), ROI (Return on Investment), Account health; Returns, Profitability, Commissions, Charges, Inventory Levels, Orders, Average Selling Price (ASP), and more.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • -Foster collaboration with category managers and account managers, developing actionable plans to enhance sales.
      -Resolve issues and queries related to item delivery, returns, replacements, payment methods, and product information.
      -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to curate compelling product content for enhanced visibility.
      -Drive promotional activities on social media platforms to boost brand presence and engagement.
