A flat regular bed sheet needs to be tucked in everyday while setting up the bed whereas the fitted elasticated bed sheet is a convenient option that fits over the mattress snuggly and even after abrasion there is no need to dress up the bed everyday.

"TC" stands for "Thread Count" in fabric, indicating the number of threads per square inch. A higher thread count often signifies a smoother, more durable fabric, making it a common indicator of quality. Generally, the higher the thread count, the smoother, softer, and more durable the fabric is considered to be.

The fabric if microfiber/ polyester does not shrink. However, cotton fabric shrinks 1-2% depending on the GSM of cotton fabric. The more GSM or heaviness in fabric, the more it shrinks.

The Fabrics used at Swayam are pre-tested for color fastness. However, if you are buying cotton, as a normal characteristic the fabric will fade out after 50-6 wash cycles.

From Digital Printing to Screen Printing, Sticker Print to Rotary prints, Swayam offers a wide variety of printing options depending on the type of product it is. For example, products like Bed sheets have prussian, pigment and reactive type of printing which are the best suitable options for a bed sheet set.

Care instructions vary by fabric type but typically include machine washing in cold water, avoiding harsh chemicals, and air drying or tumble drying on low heat. Specific instructions are provided with each product to ensure longevity.

Treat stains as soon as possible. Blot (do not rub) the stain with a clean cloth. Use a mild detergent mixed with water or a fabric-specific stain remover. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first.

Most fabrics can be ironed on a low to medium heat setting. Always check the care label for specific ironing instructions. Use a pressing cloth to protect the fabric from direct heat.

Air drying is usually best to prevent shrinkage and maintain the integrity of the fabric. If machine drying is recommended, use a low heat setting. Avoid high heat to prevent damage.

Use mild, non-abrasive detergents. Avoid detergents with bleach or strong chemicals, as they can damage the fabric and cause discoloration.

It's not suggested to soak the fabric until something like a very harsh stain needs to be removed. Soaking the fabric reduces the fabric quality and even the entangling of the threads woven together reduces the fabric strength.

For maintaining fabrics from Swayam, especially the color and texture, avoid direct sunlight when drying, use color-safe detergent, and iron on a low setting if necessary.
